Bio

I’ve been a Brand Strategist and Creative Director for over 10 years; lucky enough to have worked at creative agencies such as Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, 72&Sunny, FCB Chicago, Wongdoody and McCann. I’m obsessed with the craft of communications and how it’s evolved from mass experiences to a customer intimacy no one could have imagined. Customer experience matters more than ever with strategy and creative departments converging to deliver the best they can.

My toolbox contains traditional product/brand positioning work, design thinking, CX, and communication planning—the places and spaces where hearts and minds can be won. 

I encourage play and embrace failures. I push aside egos and provide a sense of collective mission and meaning for teams I lead.

I currently reside in downtown LA and enjoy witnessing its evolution. I love making zines, collecting independent comic books and riding on trains.

2015 - associate strategy director - Wongdoody 

//Led creative strategy for “benevolent brands” across LA/Seattle offices such as Cedars Sinai, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, VCA Animal Hospitals, National University, Hallmark Labs as wells as positioning a variety of startups and companies seeking digital transformation in their product offerings.

//Aided the establishment of a strategy practice that helped a $75M acquisition by consulting conglomerate, Infosys.

//Led brand and creative strategy for major organizations across a variety of verticals including Boeing Commercial/Corporate divisions, Digiorno Pizza’s product Innovation group, Valspar paint national advertising as well as Bud Light Lime-A-Rita product positioning and advertising.

//Principal strategist on the launch of the game-changing Chromecast from product positioning to national campaign.

2009 -  strategist - goodby, silverstein & partners

//Focused on keystone technology accounts: HP Printing Group, Sprint and Google x Motorola’s positioning/launch of the Moto X. Aided the NBA’s national advertising with particular focus on the 2010 national lockout.
